Worcester - Alberta A Fontaine, of Worcester, MA, passed away on November 24,2022. Alberta was born in Worcester MA on March 6, 1940.
She is predeceased by her parents and siblings. Alberta leaves behind her cousin Michael Stratton and his wife Elaine, from Shrewsbury MA. And longtime special friends Irene Perron and (her daughter) Kimberly Dion, both of Arizona. She also leaves loving friends Alexis and Dale Benander (and family) from Rutland MA. Including the Bissonnette family originally from Holden Ma.
Alberta resided in Boston MA for many years where she started her own travel agency and enjoyed the benefits of traveling to beautiful island resorts and cruises. When she relocated back to Worcester she worked in multiple levels of office environments being very computer savvy. Alberta was very generous in supporting those in need throughout her life. Her strong patriotism kept her abreast of current political affairs. She was a devoted within her Catholic religion. Alberta will be remembered by all for her gracious heart, heartwarming laugh and gentle demeanor. She had a tremendous faith leaving us at peace with her passing.
A celebration of Alberta’s life will be held on Monday, December 5, with a funeral mass at 11 AM in Saint Joseph Church 35 Hamilton St. Worcester, and calling hours in the church from 10 to 11 prior to the funeral.
