New Bedford – Cynthia L. Adriano, age 79, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved widow of the late Albert M. Adriano Sr.
She was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Marion (Borges) and Carlos Lawrence and was the youngest of 9 children. She had worked at Olin Aegis Computers.
She was a tiny woman with a strong heart, who went back to get her high school diploma in her 40's. She loved animals and had many throughout her whole life including, her beloved Brandy, African Grey Parrot. She had the best sense of humor and thankfully loved taking pictures for the whole family to enjoy.
Her love and smile will be missed but we will see her again someday.
Cynthia is survived by a son, Albert M. Adriano, Jr. and his wife, Melodie of New Bedford; a daughter, Wendy L. Adriano and her wife, Susan; 2 grandchildren, Mikayla Adriano and Jacob Adriano of New Bedford; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind, a sister, Mary (Lawrence) Trembley and her husband Albert and brother, Ritchie Lawrence.
Cynthia’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday morning in the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 A.M. with a service to be held at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
