Alex “Joe” Debreceni, 46 of Londonderry, NH, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at his home in Londonderry. Mr. Debreceni was born in Lawrence, MA on October 10, 1959, a son of Sandor Debreceni and Rosemarie (Marcoux) Robinson. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past five years, formerly living in Northern MA. He graduated from the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational School. Mr. Debreceni worked as a warehouse clerk for Gillette in North Andover, MA for many years. He was a sports enthusiast, enjoying both playing and watching and was a fan of all New England sports teams. He was also an avid ice hockey skater. Mr. Debreceni was a talented guitarist and had a great knowledge of history and historical facts. He was a dedicated and devoted father.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Linda Debreceni of Londonderry, two sons, Andrew Debreceni and Russell Debreceni, both of Londonderry, his father, Sandor Debreceni of Victor, CA, his mother, Rosemarie Robinson of Methuen, MA, three brothers, William Debreceni of Lawrence, James Debreceni of Londonderry, Eric Debreceni of Lawrence, two sisters, Paula Debreceni and Christine Byron, both of Haverhill, MA, a grandmother, Gloria Marcoux of Methuen, and also by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Williams.
The Alex “Joe” Debreceni family greeted family and friends Tuesday, May 30th from 2-4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. The Linda (Pratt) Debreceni family greeted family and friends Tuesday from 7-9pm in the funeral home. Private family funeral and interment services were held.
