William “Billy” Rathe Doucette, 15, of Heritage Hill Road, Windham, NH died Friday November 23, 2001 at the Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA from injuries sustained in an off road vehicle accident. He was born in Lawrence, MA on February 7, 1986, a son of Stephen M. and Kathleen J. (O’Donnell) Doucette. He was a lifelong Windham resident. He was a freshman at Salem High School, formerly attending Windham Middle School. He played bass guitar as well as being an avid dirt bike enthusiast. He was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Parish, Windham.
He is survived by his parents of Windham, one brother, Stephen D. Doucette of Windham, two sisters, Stephanie J. Doucette, Allison R. Doucette, both of Windham, paternal grandmother, Carol R. Doucette, of Pelham, NH, maternal grandmother, Jeannette O’Donnell, of Hollis, NH, many aunts uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 28th at 11:00am at St. Matthew’s Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Thursday, November 29th at 10:00am at the Cemetery on the Hill, Windham. Friends may call on Tuesday November 27th from 5 - 8PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
