DeFILIPPIS, NICHOLAS age 91, of Stony Point, formerly of Fort Lee, died on May 24, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee) Latini. Devoted father of Russell and his wife Donna. Dear brother of Michael, Frank, Anthony and Lucille Gross. Nicholas was a Truckdriver’s Assistant for Signal Delivery Service, Maywood, NJ for 15 years. Prior he was a machine operator for 30 years at Warever Pencil and Pen. He was a Veteran of US Army WWII and a member of VFW 3286 in Cresskill.
Funeral service Saturday 10AM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. Internment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ. Family & friends are invited to visit Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to United Hospice at Rockland, 11 Stokym Lane, New City, NY 10956.
