Roger Buon of Mattapan passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 17, 2022 at the age of 92.
He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, educator, and friend.
Roger's legacy includes his children, Leslie (Yves) Pierre-Jerome, Nancy (James) of Hyde Park, Leutz (Mychell) of Randolph, Beline and Roger, Sheila (Elijah), and Steve Mondesir. Also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Daphne, Sean A., Terrance M., Jonathan J. Norvin, Elijah, Caleb, Emile, Nathaniel A. Buon, Nyelle O., Ethen L. Joseph, and one great-grandchild Fabienne Norvin.
Roger's family will receive visitors at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church/ St. Angela Church, 1548 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, on Saturday December 3, 2022 from 9-10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park.
