Josephine (Lombardo) Masucci, of Medford, passed away on Thursday, November 17th. She was 97. Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Lacascia) Lombardo.
Josephine was a devout Christian, and enjoyed watching the daily Mass every morning on the Catholic TV channel. She had a strong work ethic, which led her to have a successful career as an administrator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 61 years. Josephine’s biggest passion in life was being a mother and a nana. She will be greatly missed by all.
Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Masucci. She was the devoted mother of Rose Marie Maher and her late husband John, the late Gaspare Masucci and his surviving wife Peggy and Jackie Masucci. She was the loving Nana Jo of Mark Maher, Courtney, Alyssa and Tony Masucci. She was the dear sister of Nancy Lombardo and the late Gaspare, Antonina, Peter, Joseph, Marianna, Philip and Salvatore.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, November 23rd, at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
