Jo Anne Miller of Ventura Ca. passed away on October 27th, 2022 in Ventura. Jo Anne was born December 16, 1943 in Oxnard Ca. She went to Ventura High and graduated in 1961.She received a degree in Education from San Diego State and a Special Ed. degree from Cal Lutheran. Jo Anne retired after 42 years of teaching at Bellermon Jefferson High, Penfield and Oxnard High. She enjoyed all sports and received awards for Master Swimmers and Triathlon competitions. Jo Anne also successfully coached many volleyball, badminton, swimming and track teams. She was well traveled, an avid reader, witty, generous and a devoted dog mom. She is survived by her brother William(Bill)Miller, sister Judy Miller, Stepsister Gail DeAnde (Gil), niece Tracee Nillson (Melker) and their children Catharina and Christopher Nillson, niece Laura Pigeon and her son Jackson. She is also survived by many lifelong friends and former students. In Liew of flowers memorial donations can be made to the CMH auxiliary. Per Jo Anne's wishes there will be no services.
