Obituary

KENNEBUNK – Zelma “Faye” Bell, age 69, passed away on November 12, 2022, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

She was born in Chatfield, Ohio on November 11, 1953, a daughter of the late Cecil & Starling (Betty) (Harris) Colegrove.

She lived an adventurous life. From living in a school bus with her 2 daughters on the beaches of California, to traveling with a carnival, hitting the casinos of Nevada, and finding herself in the mountains of Colorado. Free spirit was in her soul and lead her to meet her soul mate. She worked hard to provide for her family, working 1, 2, and at times 3 jobs at a time. Somehow she managed to fit it some crocheting, or any other crafty thing you'd throw her way. You would see her biggest smile when she was with family. Whether it be her daughters in Maine, or her family in Ohio, Her smile was never bigger.

She is predeceased by her true love and soul mate Don Drake (Shantam), her son Kavin Edward Bell, her sisters Doris Jordan & Ruth Baldwin both of Ohio, and her brother Carl Colegrove of Kentucky. Faye is survived by her sisters Sue Frey, Carol Horner, Pamela Roberts & Rozie Schubert all of Ohio and her 3 daughters Robin (Bell) Cudd & Crystle Bell both of Maine, and Tamra Thein of New York, as well as her grandchildren Liza Bowman of New York, and Ronald & Tommy Cudd both of Ohio, Jacob & Bobby Cudd and Jill & Josh Fortin all of Maine as well as great grandchildren Ollan & Faven of Ohio and Max, Trinnity & Harper of Maine and 1 more on the way along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is unsure of services at this time, but will update later.
