Saundra J. "Sandy" Niccum 82, of Anderson, passed away on November 9th after an extended illness.
Saundra was born on December 14, 1939 to Ruth Grimm.
Saundra graduated from Anderson High School and was retired from the Madison County Government Center after 25 years of service.
Saundra enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, swimming, the beach, trips to Florida with her friends, most of all being around family.
Saundra is survived by her only son, Jimmie Niccum (wife, Vera); grandchildren, Heather Niccum, Jesse Niccum, Scott Niccum; great-grandchildren, Sean Niccum, Taylor Smoots (Deontre) , Baylee Niccum (Octavous Anderson), Christopher Niccum (Dawn), Matthew Niccum (Haley), Nathan Niccum, Hunter Niccum, Jayden Adams, Hayley Collins; great-great-grandkids, Mah'Launi Anderson, Tay'Veon Smoots, Layla Niccum, Johnathan Niccum and Ace Lucas; sister, Janice Stinson(Bob) and several nieces and nephews.
Saundra was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Grimm.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Joe Roysden officiating. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
