Obituary

Michael Allen Pourier, age 54 entered into rest on November 3, 2022 at his home in Paterson, Washington. He was born on December 18, 1967 in Hermiston, Oregon. Until making his home in Paterson two years ago, he lived in Yakima. Michael and Ebony Rockenbach were married on February 17, 2022 in Reno, Nevada.
He received his GED and then became a certified welder. In January, 2021 he attended Commercial Driver Trainer School and received his certificate and became a driver for Hazmat CDL
Michael was free spirited, high energy, rebellious and loved going on adventures. At the same time he was protective and soft hearted when it came to his loved ones. He enjoyed creating Native American beadwork doing custom beading, fishing, fast cars (Mustangs) and training dogs. Most of all he loved his family unconditionally.
Michael had several general labor jobs. He worked for Hermiston Rock Production, LLC and Columbia Basin Helicopter LLC based in LaGrande, Oregon and was a CDL Driver. In 2021 and 2021 he worked as ground support during the fire season.
Michael is survived by his wife, Eboney; mother, Eleanor M. Pourier; daughter, Jessica Pourier; stepson, Derek Simons; nine grandchildren, Jace, Jackson, and Jet Simons, Jordan, Asia and Nicholas Pourier, Jaylee Pourier, and Khassidy and Katelyn Simons; siblings, Marvin Pourier, Melina Pourier and Machelle (Tim) Watts; and nephews, Richard, Ryan (Jackie) and Joe (Ksenija); and Niece, Mariah.
He was preceded in death by his son Skyler; stepson, Dustin Simons; Grandparents, Ben and Hazel (Rooks) Pourier, Uncle John Trundle, aunts, Robert (Pourier) Chivington and Marilyn Pourier.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Paterson Cemetery.
