FITZPATRICK John C. Of West Roxbury, passed away on November 7, 2022. Beloved son of Georgia Fitzpatrick and the late Edward “Lefty” Fitzpatrick. Loving father of Christy Grace and Jonathan Fitzpatrick. Grandfather of Logan and Avery. Brother of Joe Fitzpatrick and his wife Paula, and the late Evelyn Fitzpatrick. Also survived by many loving family members. Longtime member of Boston Lodge of Elks #10.
John was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, where he excelled hockey. He was a chef for many years at Franco’s in Norwood, he later worked as a roofer. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed fishing on the Charles River.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Sunday, November 13th from 1-4pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, November 14th at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church at 11:30am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John’s memory to the Gavin Foundation 675 East Fourth St. South Boston, MA 02127.
