New Bedford – Robert A. Chenette, 59, of Acushnet died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Joyce A. (Telles) Chenette.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Alphonse and Sarah (O’Mara) Chenette, he had resided in New Bedford and Maine prior to moving to Acushnet 3 years ago. He was a printer for Hiller Printing and American Press of New Bedford. Mr. Chenette was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet and was a member of American Legion Post 166 of Fairhaven.
Including his wife, he is survived by a son: Richard T. Chenette of Acushnet; and a daughter: Julie E. Chenette of Acushnet.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet.
Interment will be private.
