John J. Romano, 61

John J. Romano, age 61, of Taunton, formerly of Mansfield and Sharon, passed away at home on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Born in Norwood, MA on February 20, 1961, he was a loving son of the late Patrick J. and Rose M. (Budziszewski) Romano.
John grew up and was educated in Sharon and as a youth played football, ice hockey, baseball, basketball and was a communicant of Our lady of Sorrows Church. While growing up in Sharon, John also enjoyed riding his bike to Lake Massapoag and trips to Borderland State Park in Easton.
Prior to residing in Taunton, he had made his home in Mansfield for many years. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite team being the New England Patriots. John also enjoyed going to casinos, playing the lottery and had the ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
He was the devoted brother of Patti A. Anderson of Norton and her late husband Dennis Anderson, Terri L. Kelly and her husband Frank of Scituate and Dennis P. Romano and his wife Chris of Plympton. He was the cherished uncle of Christine Anderson and her fiancé Dave Lemaire of North Attleboro and the great uncle of Savannah Rose Lemaire of North Attleboro.
Services, along with burial at Rock Ridge cemetery in Sharon will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
