Virginia M. Frenier, 80

Virginia M. (Pierce) Frenier, age 80, of Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Milford Regional Medical center in Milford.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on December 19, 1941, she was a loving daughter of the late Robert H. and Elizabeth B. (Dolan) Pierce.

Ginny grew up in Attleboro and was educated in Attleboro Public Schools. A resident of Attleboro for most of her life, she had worked as a cashier at Stop & Shop in Attleboro for ten years and was formerly employed as a waitress for Morin’s Catering Service and Morin’s Diner in Attleboro.

Ginny’s family was the essence and greatest gift in her life. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching golf tournaments on TV, loved her grandson’s dog “Celery” and will always be remembered for her strong work ethics.

Virginia’s family would especially like to thank the staff at Genesis Healthcare in Milford and at the Milford Regional Medical Center for the love, care and compassion extended to her.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Nancy A. Precourt and her husband Dennis of Norton. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas D. Precourt and his wife Brittany of Mansfield and the treasured great grandmother of Kaia Precourt, Valentina Precourt and Lola Precourt. She was the dear sister of the late Barbara Charest and Janet Poisson and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, November 10th from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at St. John’s Cemetery in Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers. Ginny’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Attleboro Animal Control & Shelter, 27 Pond Street North, Attleboro, MA 02703.
