Lawson, of Bourne, formerly of N. Easton, May 21, 2006 Martin W. “Marty” Lawson, Jr., 48 years. Beloved son of the late Martin W. “Bill” and Mary E. (Perkins) Lawson. Brother of Mary E. “Lisa” Burke and her husband John M. Burke of S. Easton and Linda A. Proctor and her husband Douglas S. of Marshfield. Loving uncle of Erik M. Burke and Joseph W. and Anna E. Proctor.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in The Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 9am. Internment in Melrose Cemetery Brockton. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm. Martin W. Lawson, Jr., Network Systems Engineer

Martin W. “Marty” Lawson, Jr. died unexpectedly Sunday at his home in Bourne. Born in Brockton, he was raised in North Easton, son of the late Martin W. “Bill” and Mary E. (Perkins) Lawson.
A 1976 graduate of Oliver Ames High School, he studied mechanical engineering, computer science, and accounting at Bridgewater State College and Massasoit Community College.
After a long management career in the automotive service industry, both locally and on Cape Cod, Marty earned professional certification in computer systems engineering. For the past nine years he has worked as a network systems engineer, most recently for Intuit in Hyannis. Marty had been a resident of Cape Cod for 20 years. His hobbies included skiing, motorcycling, boating, camping, traveling, and computers.
