WORCESTER-Charles E. Langelier, 73 of 90 Eureka Street died Tuesday, August 6th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Madeline M. (Hardy) Langelier; a daughter, Charlene E. Foreman of Charlton; 2 brothers, Joseph and Raymond Langelier and 2 sisters, Yvonne Madison and Claire Howland all of Wilsonville, CT; 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 2 brothers, Albert and Leonard Langelier and 2 sisters, Belle Desrochers and Delores Langelier all predeceased him.
He was born in Wilsonville, CT son of Joseph and Ora (Pratt) Langelier and lived in Worcester for many years. Mr. Langelier was the senior custodian for the Worcester Public Schools for 25 years retiring in 1993. He previously worked as a machinist for Curtis & Marble Machine Company. He was a member of our Lady of the Angels Church and enjoyed automotive repair work.
The funeral will be Saturday, August 10th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, August 9th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140-1102.
