Michele L. Musco, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, October 26th, at the Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was 69. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Antico) Musco. At the age of 16, Michele started her career in the cosmetics industry at Filene's Basement before moving onto Filene's and eventually retiring from Macy's with 50 years of service. Here she formed lifelong friendships with so many. Michele was adored by her customers and colleagues.
Michele lived out her devotion to the blessed Mother as a member of the Legion of Mary and the Adoration Team at St. Joseph Church in Medford. She was a steward of Christ as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Anthony Shrine in Boston. Michelle had a passion for helping others. She would organize clothing drives for Haiti, fundraising for Catholic Missionaries, and delivered Christmas gifts to nursing home residents. Michele will be remembered for her ever-present smile and vibrant personality. She will be sorely missed by many.
Michele was the dear sister of Mark Musco. She was the caring cousin of Francine Pistorino, Robert Uvelo and his wife Tracy, David Pistorino, Justine Noonan and her husband John. Michele is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, November 5th from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
