Orell E. Nadeau passed away peacefully at his home in Bridgewater, MA on October 27, 2022 at the age of 66.
Born in Taunton, MA on August 18, 1956 to Rita D. (Bombardier) Nadeau and William C. Nadeau, he was the brother of Anita Perry of Sagamore Beach, William Nadeau of Fall River, Peter Nadeau and wife Margaret of Swansea, the late Paul Nadeau, and Carl Nadeau of Raynham.
Orell graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, class of 1974. He owned and operated his own business, Nadeau & Son, which provided landscaping services across the southeastern Massachusetts area for over twenty years. He later joined the custodial staff at the LaLiberte elementary school in Raynham, MA.
In 1986, he and then wife, Janet (Morey) Nadeau built a home together in Bridgewater where they raised their two children, Scott and Meredith. Their home was host to friends and family alike for large parties and gatherings throughout the years. He enjoyed the fruits of his labor and retired in 2021.
He restored antique cars and was an avid Patriots fan. His relaxation and freedom came from frequent rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycles, but his greatest pride and joy was his family. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, his infectious laugh, and rebellious spirit.
Orell is survived by his former wife, Janet, son Scott and his wife Lauryn, his twin grandsons, Travis & Jack, and his daughter Meredith and future son-in-law, Christian. In addition to his family, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street on Wednesday November 2nd from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday November 3rd at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
