On October 18, 2022, Joann Dansby Johnson of Boston, MA, was called home. Joann, also known as Chick to her family and close friends, was born on April 26, 1959. Joann loved helping people and found a career in health care that allowed her to do what she loved. Above all else, she loved her family unconditionally and would do anything for them. We will cherish the memories made with her forever.
Joann was preceded in death by her mother Ann Stokes, father Joseph Anderson, husband Ronald Sapp, and son Ronald Dansby. She is survived by her daughter, Janel Dansby, grandchildren, Kadijah Dansby, Nyjulius Johnson, Taylor Jackson, Keion Rowell, Heaven Rowell, and Arianna Kelly, siblings, and a host of family and friends.
Joann truly will be missed!
According to her wishes, services will be private.
Joann's final resting place will be at the Garden of Peace Columbarium at St. Michael's Cemetery in Boston.
