William “Billy” J. Edwards passed away October 19, 2022. He was born February 28, 1952 to Harold and Gladys Edwards and was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed greatly. He dedicated his life to taking care of others, in his career and personal life. He worked as a Lynn fireman for 27 years until he retired in 2007. Billy lived for his children and grandchildren and spent his retired years enjoying visiting them whenever he could, walking around town, talking about anything and everything, especially history, politics, and the news, and lending a helping hand wherever he was able. His generosity and kindness went above and beyond knowing no bounds and he will be deeply missed.
Billy is survived by his two children: Eric Edwards, Christine Edwards and her husband Daniel Keogh; Grandchildren: Jamie Edwards, Connor Walsh, Guy Wonson-Keogh, and Catherine Keogh; Siblings: Warny Edwards and his wife Susan Edwards, Lisa Edwards; Nieces: Sue Rosa, Jenny McCarthy, Kate Cutting, and Colleen Edwards
Service Information: A celebration of his life will be held at the Nahant Life Saving Station, 96 Nahant Road, Nahant, MA 01908 from 11am-2pm on Sunday November 6, 2022. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A small service will be held in the middle of the timeframe.
