Donna E. McGuinness (Rosen) age 71, of Brockton, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert M. McGuinness. Born in Malden and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Yale H. and Natalie (Lipson) Rosen.
Donna was a graduate of Brockton High School and worked as a billing clerk at the former Eastern Edison Electric Company.
A “homebody” at heart, she was a compassionate, helpful, generous, and loving person who always enjoyed making other people happy. Donna loved her family deeply and was especially proud of her nieces and nephews. Family time was most important to her and was often referred to as the “family historian” as she had an amazing memory and was an exceptional storyteller.
She leaves her three sisters, Marlene Levin, of Pennsylvania, Linda McCann, of Taunton, and Julie Glass, of North Attleboro; a niece, Alissa Carpenter; four nephews, Mathew Freeman, Joshua McCann, Justin Glass, and Ethan Glass; four great nephews and 1 great niece.
To honor Donna’s wishes, a committal service and interment with her husband will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date and visiting hours will be respectfully omitted.
