Frances M. Palma
Retired Data Processing Supervisor
NORTH ANDOVER: Frances M. (Tricamo) Palma, age 91, recently of North Andover, a former 52-year resident of Tewksbury, and a longtime communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Andover, passed away at home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of Pasquale A. Palma, with whom she would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on November 16, 2022.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Josephine (Gitto) Tricamo.
Frances was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Manuel High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Wang Laboratories as a data processing supervisor.
Frances was a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Walk-In-Center, where she enjoyed numerous activities.
She was a talented artist and truly enjoyed oil painting landscapes scenes and portraits.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gerard A. Palma, of North Andover and Thomas Palma and his wife Anne, of Brentwood, NH: three grandchildren, LyAnn and Jessica Palma, of North Andover, and Emily Palma, of Brentwood, NH. Frances was the sister of the late Josephine Early and her late husband James, the late Ann Porsia and her late husband Joseph, and the late Sonny Tricamo. She leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
SERVICES: Family and friends are invited to her memorial breakfast with gluten free options available on Saturday, October 29th from 9-10 a.m., at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover. Her Memorial Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. After Mass, a committal service and burial of her ashes will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Section 12, 90 River Road, Tewksbury.
