P>New Bedford MA.- Carlos Da Costa died Monday May 22, 2006 at Boston Medical Center MA. Mr. Da Costa was the husband of Lucia (Amaral) Da Costa of New Bedford MA. He was the father of Niveria, Maria, Ricardo and Steven Costa all of New Bedford. He was the grandfather of Corey Graca and Shea Costa. Mr. Da Costa was the brother of Joao, Paulo, Luis and Mario Costa all of St. Michael, Azores. Also he had several nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Da Costa was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal. He was a son of the late Carlos Da Costa and Maria doRosaria (Tavares) Da Costa of St. Michael, Azores. He lived in this area since 1978. He was a Brick Mason for Pereira’s Landscaping. He was a former member of Portuguese Sports Club and Fernando’s Sports Club.
His Funeral Mass will be on Friday May 26, 2006 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 AM. Visiting hours are 6 to 9 PM. Thursday May 25, 2006 from at Perry Funeral Home. Burial followed at St. John’s Cemetery.
