Clarence T. Bryant Sr., 89, of North Rd., Brentwood, NH, died November 23, 2001 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. He was born in Boston, Mass. on June 29, 1912, a son of the late John A. and Vesta B. (Berry) Bryant. He was a resident of Brentwood, NH since 1997, formerly living in Derry. He had been employed by RCA in Burlington, Mass. as a sheet metal model fabricator. He was a member of the Friendship Lodge AF & AM in Wilmington, Mass., and the Baalbec Lodge AF & AM in Chelsea, Mass. He was also a member of the Supreme Council Order of the Amaranth Nashoba Valley Court #13 in Concord, Mass. and the Aleppo Temple of the Shrine, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Wilmington, Mass. He was a member of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar and the Apprendant Orders of Massachusetts and Rhode Island and was a past Deputy Grand Warder. He was predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Christine P. Bryant who died in 2000.
He is survived by three daughters, Beverly A. Hodges of Pittsburgh, PA, Sandra M. Szulerecki of Seffner, FL, Barbara J. Robitaille of Derry, NH, two sons, Robert A. Bryant of Auburn, NH, Clarence T. Bryant Jr. of Groton, NH, 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at 9:00 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. The burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 27th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9.
