Obituary

Malora "Molly" Hill Bolton, 83, passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2022, at Carlyle House Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Framingham.

Born March 25 1939, in Otisco, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Pauline Hill.She was pre-deceased by her brother, Ronald HIll and sister Janet (Hill) Crysler and brother in law, Donald Crysler.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Bolton and his long-time partner, Lana Reed of Framingham, MA and her daughter, Tami (Bolton) Hevey and her husband Donald Hevey of Medway, MA. She is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Matthew Hevey of Bellingham, MA, Megan Hevey of Denver, CO, and Michael Hevey of Medway, MA. She is also survived by her former husband Hugh Bolton, of Spring Hill, FL, as well as many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

Molly was raised and educated in upstate New York and was a 1956 graduate of Marcellus High School. She began her professional career in Syracuse, NY at Bristol Myers. She stopped working for many years to raise her children in LaFayette, NY and later Liverpool, NY. In 1976, she and her family relocated to Franklin, MA. She continued her education to update her business skills to re-enter the workforce and had an extensive professional career in the insurance industry. She commuted to Boston for many years working as an Administrative Coordinator and Risk Analyst for Aetna, AIG, and AON.  She also was employed at Perini Corporation and HMK Company. Once her children were grown, Molly moved to Natick, MA, where she lived out the remainder of her years.

Molly's favorite thing to do was spend time with her adored grandchildren and she loved watching them grow up. She was a passionate Red Sox fan and also enjoyed reading, puzzles, and playing Scrabble. She was known for her outspoken and outgoing personality, as well as her love for an occasional cold beer. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Much gratitude goes to the staff at Carlyle House for their kindness and care for Molly over the last few months.

Calling hours will be held from 11am- 1pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022 in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St., relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Funeral services will be held privately, at a later date.
