Sara Ann Kilpatrick Troupe, 66, of Enigma passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Pruitt Health in Ocilla. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Troupe will be laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. The family will receive friends and food on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall of Brookfield United Methodist Church. After the service Saturday, October 22, 2022, friends are invited back to Brookfield United Methodist Church for a meal with the family and friends.
Born August 2, 1956, in Pike County, Alabama, Mrs. Troupe was the daughter of the late Ernest Kilpatrick and Mae Dean McClendon Kilpatrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alex Troupe; one daughter, Daisy Mae West; one step-daughter, Tammy Olive; four brothers, Rex Kilpatrick, Junior Kilpatrick, Louie Kilpatrick and James Wade “Jimmy” Kilpatrick; and one sister, Shirley Colley. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Troupe is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jamie Davis of Brookfield, Alice and Lee Cribb of Troy, Alabama and Tammy and Brian Bennett of Lenox; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Sue Rugg of Ariton, Alabama; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cleone and Pete Rugg of Chula, Debra Williams of Brundidge, Alabama and Linda and Scott Hogan of Albany; a sister-in-law, Gloria Kilpatrick of Tifton; seven grandchildren, Kaitlin Croft, Belle Cribb, Cortney Bennett, Tyler Wise, Kaden Davis, Austin Olive and Jeffery Olive; and four great-grandchildren, Cason Wise, Oaklyn Wise, Brayden Jones and River Jones.
