FALL RIVER… Joao V. “John” Oliveira, 38, of Fall River passed away October 16, 2022, at Miriam Hospital in Providence.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose J. and Maria F (Barbosa) Oliveira. He moved to Fall River with his family when he was 2 years old.
Mr. Oliveira was a communicant of the former St. Annes Church. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who also enjoyed cars and building models. He loves spending time with his family and friends, most of all his children.
Survivors include his brother: Ceasar Oliveira and his wife Ana; his children: Isaiah and his mother Keri, A.J. and his mother Ashley, Faith and Nathan and their mother Louisa; his nieces and nephew: Cassandra, Caroline and Donovan.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday from 9 - 11 AM, prior to the funeral service.
