It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Corazon Aniag Ocampo of Oxnard, California on October 13, 2022, at the age of 63. Cora was born in Paranaque, Philippines to Felicidad and Ereneo Aniag on August 28, 1959. She loved and cared for all unconditionally. Her cooking and personality won a lot of people’s hearts. Cora was a mother to all as she made sure everyone had delicious food on their plates and smiles on their faces. Even though she had many challenges she had to overcome, she always walked with a smile ready to take care of her family and friends. The one thing she loved to do on her free time was to cook and play candy crush on her iPad.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Felicito Ocampo; daughter: Karen Ocampo; sisters: Asuncion, Dorotea, Elizabeth and Florentina and numerous other family members and friends. Cora is preceded in death by her mother Felicidad Joson Aniag; her father Ereneo Aniag; and her sister Bella Elemento.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cora’s beautiful and inspiring life on Tuesday evening October 18, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and a Most Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Star of the Sea (463 W Pleasant Valley Rd, Oxnard, CA 93033) on Wednesday October 19, 2022, at 10:00 A.M.
