Gary A. Novelline, of Acton, formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, October 6th. He was 72. Born and raised in Medford, he was the cherished son of the late William and Mary (Roberto) Novelline.
Gary was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and the Red Sox. He enjoyed watching their games at home with his wife Noreen. When it came to cars Gary was a genius. He knew every fact and detail about any make and model. Gary enjoyed attending the yearly automobile show at the Bayside Expo Center. One of Gary’s favorite things to do was to spend time with his family. Every Thursday night Gary and his family would meet at their mother’s house for dinner.
Gary was the beloved husband of 48 years to Norren (MacDonald) Novelline. He was the dear brother of Billy Novelline and his wife Eileen, Sylvie Novelline and his wife Maureen, and Toni Byrnes and her late husband Michael. Gary is also survived by 8 nieces, nephews and many loving family members.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, on Thursday, October 20th at 11:30 AM. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
