Obituary

Auburn__ Algis Bronius Peckaitis, 86, of Auburn died on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in Life Care Center of Auburn. His wife of sixty-two years, Jane A. (Grybauskas) Peckaitis died in 2021. He is survived by his children, Peter A. Peckaitis and his wife Lisset of Danielson, CT and Ellen R. Poole and her husband D. Scott of Rutland, MA; brother Victor Peckaitis of Old Saybrook, CT; niece Christine Peckaitis; grandchildren, Colette Poole, Annalise C. Poole, Kristina J. Iacaboni and her husband Andrew, and Emily Peckaitis. He is predeceased by a brother Romas Peckaitis. Algis was born in Memel, Lithuania a son of Patras and Stasia (Undriusis) Peckaitis.
Mr. Peckaitis was a supervisor and press operator for Parker Manufacturing and Lindquist Tools. He was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed visiting the beach and trips to the casino.
A funeral service will be at 11:30 am in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, following a calling hour from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canines for Disabled Kids, 65 James St., Suite 210, Worcester, MA 01603.
