JONE “JONI” A. (FENTON) FLEMING OBITUARY
Jone “Joni” Aileen (Fenton) Fleming, 77 of Cookport, PA passed away and went to be with her husband on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Monroe C. and Cora (Kerr) Fenton, she was born on August 14, 1945 in Indiana, PA.
She married Dennis “Denny” Fleming on March 8, 1965 and they shared over forty-four years of marriage together until his death on March 29, 2009.
Joni enjoyed flower gardening and doing all kinds of word and jigsaw puzzles. She also like to go antiquing.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy L. Fleming of Silver Lake, NY; her grandson: Timothy Kuhn of Ohio; her brother Leroy “Red” Fenton of Cleveland, OH and her grand fur baby Copper, a boxer mix. Joni also leaves behind her very special friends: Carol Montgomery and Todd, Valerie, Logan and Maddie White.
Joni was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Denny; her four brothers: Charles, Eugene, David and Bruce Fenton and her two sisters: Janet Fenton and Rowena Rowland.
Family and friends will be received from 4-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where a 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert White officiating. Interment will be at the Cookport Methodist Cemetery in Cookport, PA.
