Obituary

Edgar R. “Red” Paquin, 96 died October 5, 2022 at Ridgewood Center.

He was born in Bedford, NH on February 16, 1926 the son of Adolphe and Lydia (Marcotte) Paquin.

He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.

He worked in the Manchester Mills, Ferretti’s, Bank of New Hampshire, and for Peggy Sue’s Flower Shop.

He enjoyed acting, singing karaoke and dancing. He also enjoyed celebrating in all the Memorial Day and Veterans Day parades.

He was a longtime member of American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post #2.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret E. “Peggy” (Shiney) Paquin, a son, Richard Paquin, granddaughter Dawn Rumfelt, and great grand son Levi Paquin.

Family members include six children; Robert Paquin and wife Jeannine of Melbourne FL, Richard Paquin (predeceased) and wife Colette of Sebring FL, Susanne Legenc and husband Peter of Londonderry, Denise Tudor and husband Todd of Mary Esther, FL, Raymond Paquin and wife Maureen of Manchester, Ronald Paquin and husband Andre of Manchester, ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, one sister; Juliette Dubois of Bedford, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Manchester.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10 am in St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester.

Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
