On Wednesday Oct. 5,2022, Wanda Garcia, loving mother of two, Claudia and Ray Garcia Jr. passed away at the age of fifty-three. An avid Seventh Day Adventist at the Bethel Church, where she was an Elder, American Integrated Chaplaincy Corp, Treasurer, Director of
Pathfinder, Director of Woman’s Ministries, and Sabbath School Director. Wanda earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Emmanuel College and spent thirty years as a Deputy Manager at the Social Security Administration, where she won numerous awards for her
outstanding service.
She loved to travel, collect antiques, and spend time with her family. She is survived by her loving mother Aida (Fermaint) Santiago and her late father Claudio Santiago. Brothers Miguel, Claudio, Carlos, and Jose Luis and many nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog LUC.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday Oct. 11, 2022 from 4 to 8 pm and also on Wednesday Oct. 12, at 10 am at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway. Roslindale. Ma. Burial will take place Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park. Ma
