Obituary

Mrs. Judith A. (Booth) Bischoff, resident of North Andover, MA, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late Jerold J. Bischoff, passed away at her home at The Meadows Health Center in North Andover Sunday evening, October 2, 2022. She was 87 years old.

Born in Pewaukee, Wisconsin on May 6, 1935, she was the cherished daughter of the late Dwight D. and Helen L. (Rilling) Booth. Judy was a graduate of Carroll College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She moved with her family from Chenequa, Wisconsin to Andover in 1971.

Judy was an avid reader and member of the Andover Book Club for over 30 years. She also loved bird watching, gardening, and sketching/painting. For many years, Judy was a member of the Junior League, League of Women Voters, and the Shawsheen Village Women’s Club. In her younger years, Judy was a competitive skier, winning the Milwaukee Wisconsin Metro Senior Women’s Champion Skier for the 1970/71 Season, and taught skiing at the former Methuen Ski Hill in Massachusetts. She was also an avid inland lake scow sailor on E and M boats and an ice boater in Pewaukee. Above all, Judy was a devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Joan H. and husband Jay R. Curry of Abington, MA, Jennifer B. and husband Jeremy P. Towne of Paradise; AZ, sister, Suzanne B. Milbrath of Pewaukee, WI; and nephew and nieces William B. Milbrath, Jr., Dr. Mary M. Milbrath, and Barbara M. Harmann of Wisconsin. Judy was also the sister of the late Dwight D. Booth, Jr.
