Antonio S. "Tony" Garcia, 78, of Ventura passed away on Monday October 3, 2022 surrounded by family.
Born and raised in Ventura Tony attended public schools and was a lifelong resident. He was a longtime member of local 741 and was a proud cement mason for 32 years.
Tony was an avid golfer, a truly loved gardening (especially his chili plants), and enjoyed music.
Family was very important to him.
He leaves his beloved wife Mary Ann (Magdaleno) Garcia; 2 daughters Kathi Guzman, and Ramona A. Morales (Jess); 2 sisters Erlinda Garcia and Marie Arroyo (Jess); 6 grandchildren Tony, Tommy, Timmy, A.J., Sergio, and Gloria; 4 great grandchildren James, Aurora, McKenzie, and Eon; he was preceded in death by his late grandson Stephen Morales.
A special thanks for the Dr.'s and Nurses from CMH for their support and kind care for Tony; and a special thank you to Kathi for being his primary care giver.
Family and friends are invited to funeral services to be held on Friday October 14, 2022 at 1pm in the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive Ventura, a visiting hours will precede the service from 12 Noon to 1pm. Interment will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
