Charlotte A. (Herren) Schulman 59, a former Franklin resident died Friday May 19, at her home surrounded by her family after a brave and courageous battle against cancer. She was the wife of Richard Schulman.
Born Feb. 4, 1947 in Kingsport, Tenn. a daughter of Evelyn L. (Rainville) Herren of Mansfield and the late Charles J. Herren she was a longtime resident of Franklin before moving to Providence.
She was educated in Franklin schools and was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School. She was the former owner and operator of Ms. Charolette’s Hair Styling in Franklin. She was also a well known interior decorator and designer.
Charlotte was a member of the Garden Club of Little Compton, R.I. and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother are 1 brother Charles Herren Jr. of Millis, 3 sisters Mary Louisa Bourget of North Attleboro, Kathleen Dorando of Newport, R.I. and Johanna Mandell of Westwood. She was the niece of Buddy Rainville of Millis and is survived by many loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday May 24, at 8:15am from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funerall Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN followed by a funeral Mass at 9AM in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday May 23, from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
