Bertha Palmieri, 92, of Saw Mill Road, Harmony passed away on Wednesday September 28th in her home. She was the wife of the late Dante Palmieri. They had been married for 51 years.
Born in Danielson, CT, a daughter of the late Adam and Apolonia (Pitras) Kamuda. She had lived in Harmony for 68 years previously living in Greenville.
Bertha enjoyed her weekly scrabble matches with her friends at the Scituate Senior Center. Her favorite bird was the Eastern Bluebird. She was a great cook and was known for her homemade meatballs and sauce.
She leaves her children, Sheila A. Speed and her husband Bernard of Fredericksburg, VA, John F. Palmieri of Harmony and Lee P. Palmieri of Foster. She was the mother of the late Jeffery M. Palmieri. She was the grandmother of Jocelyn Palmieri, Krista Palmieri, Samantha Speed-Gangitano, Lee P. Palmieri Jr., Dane Palmieri and great-grandmother of Aiden Palmieri . She was sister of the late Veronica Kamuda, Albina Dec, Adella Palmieri, Gladys Easton, Walter, Theodore, Gunner, John and Chester Kamuda.
