With deep sadness, the family of Judith I. (Vosburgh) Pembroke, age 66, of Winchester, formerly of Hampton, VA and Laconia, NH, announces her passing on September 29, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer. She passed peacefully and lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late James Pembroke.
Born in Haverhill, MA, Judy was the daughter of the late Howard and Meredith (Thayer) Vosburgh Chase. She was raised and educated in Haverhill, where she was married and began her family. Judy was employed as a bank teller for Bayport Credit Union in Virginia for many years before moving back North to be with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending church, visiting with her children and family and traveling anywhere tropical. Judy was also a fan of crime shows, card games, sweets and had a love for fashion.
Mrs. Pembroke leaves behind her children: Tara M. Centola (Joseph) of Loudon, NH, Jason M. Dallaire (Sandi) of Greenwood, Indiana, Ruth S. Morley of Laconia, NH, Rebecca L. Morley of Winchester, and David A. Morley of Winchester. She was also the dear grandmother of Mia Walton, Chante Tibbs, Dahlia Powell, Sophia, Cecelia and Weston Dallaire. She also leaves behind her sister, Pamela (Vosburgh) Millen Hughes among many other siblings, nieces and nephews.
Judy was a strong woman of faith, and while she didn’t want to leave her children and family behind, she took comfort in knowing she would be going home to be with her Lord, Jesus.
A Memorial Service will be held privately with Judy's loved ones in accordance with her wishes.
