Constance E. Sylvester, of Winchester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 19th . Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Ralph P and Ersilia (Noviello) Sylvester. She was a lifelong resident of Winchester and member of St. Mary’s Church..
Connie’s passion was music, having studied at the Berklee School of Music and the New England Conservatory in Boston, and the Longy School of Music in Cambridge. She taught piano to students of all ages in Winchester and the surrounding communities for over 70 years.
She is survived by her sisters, Florence C., Cornelia T., and Elsie M. Sylvester all of Winchester, Irene DesMeules of VT and the late Frank, Frances, and Beatrice Sylvester and Phyllis Richards. Connie was also the dear aunt of Peter, Frank, Mark, Ralph, Karen and Lisa. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester on Tues., May 23rd at 11AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours omitted. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations in Connie’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 158 Washington St., Winchester MA 01890
