Robert L. Greenstein, age 72, of Norton, formerly of Abington, Randolph and Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the Ellis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Norwood. He was the beloved husband of Karen D. (Liberman) Greenstein, to whom he was wed on May 27, 1973.
Born in Boston, MA on May 24, 1950, he was a loving son of the late Abraham and Ethel (Hessell) Greenstein.
Rob grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston and was a graduate of the Huntington Prep School for Boys in Boston. He continued his education, graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Services.
A retired Pharmacist, Mr. Greenstein had made his home in Norton for the past five years. He loved spending time with his family and was a longtime avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted sons: Brad I. Greenstein and his wife Sabrina of Norton, Adam C. Greenstein and his wife Deanna of Brockton and Neal H. Greenstein of Norton. He was the cherished grandfather of Damon, Isiaih, Ashton, Sadie, Jude, Zachary and Gabe Greenstein. He was the dear brother of the late Marcia Lucido and Joel Greenstein.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his funeral service, officiated by Rabbi Richard Messing, on Sunday, October 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield. Burial will be private.
