Obituary

Bruce Thomson (79) of Brockton died September 27th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the life partner of Marilyn Tower of Brockton.

He was born in Brockton son of the late Robert F. Thomson and Isabelle M. (Peters) Thomson. Bruce was a retired machinist working on guidance systems for space defense for the Northrop Grumman Company of Norwood. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict and a member of various clubs including, American Legion Post #112 of Abington, US Vietnam Vets Area Post #2 of Abington, VFW Post #1788 of Rockland, Club National, Polish White Eagles, Conte Club, Bertocci Club, Enterprise Club, Randolph Elks Lodge and played shuffleboard at the Mallard for years.

In addition to his life partner he is survived by his son Adam C. Thomson of Upton, his daughter Cindy D. Antinick and husband John of Maynard, his brother Wayne C. Thomson and wife Marilyn of Brockton, 4 grandchildren, Emily, Kinsley, Flynn and Maisy, his former wife Mary H. White and many nieces and nephews.

Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday October 3rd at 10 am. Burial to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, 121 Hersey Street Hingham. Visitation in the Funeral Home Sunday October 2nd from 5-8 pm.
