GRANBY – Florence E. (Gonyer) Hamilton, 97, of Granby, was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 26, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Holyoke surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Auburn on February 6, 1925, a beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Perron) Gonyer. She moved to Sutton in 1960 and had lived in Granby since 1988. She was the former owner and manager of Sales Consultants in Westborough. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William J. Hamilton, Sr. who was Called Home on May 17, 1991. She leaves her loving son, Rev. William J. Hamilton, Director of the Office of Worship for the Diocese of Springfield. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning, September 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 120 Russell Street, Hadley, MA 01035. Her burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
