Pauline F. Plante, 92, of Worcester died Tuesday, September 27th in Notre Dame Long Term Care. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Maurice L. Plante; three sons, Jeffrey T. and his wife, Nancy of Holden, Michael R. of Guam, and Gregory M. of Dayville, CT; six grandchildren, Nicholas and his wife, Emily, Daniel, Nicole, Emily, Noelle and her husband, Calvin, and Jacob; four great grandchildren, Renee, Pierce, Liam, and Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Daniel; daughter, Lisa St. Martin; daughter in law, Kelly; three brothers, John, James, and Robert; and a sister, Katherine.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of James and Frances (Curtin) Shea and graduated from Ascension High School. Pauline was a devout member of Our Lady of the Angels Church for 59 years. She worked for J. S. Prunier for 10 years as their bookkeeper. Pauline enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and visiting the Hills Beach area in Maine in the summers.
Her funeral is Thursday, September 29th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her patron Saint to whom she prayed to daily, the National Shrine of St. Jude, 205 W. Monroe St. Chicago, IL 60606.
