Obituary

LIMINGTON – Franklin “Frank” C. Jones, 65, passed away on September 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Frank was born in Portland, Maine on May 14, 1957, son to the late Cecil “Pete” and Ruth (Pulsifer) Jones of Limington.
Frank attended Limington schools before graduating from Bonny Eagle High School. He then studied at the University of Southern Maine where he followed his passion for art.
Frank married the love of his life, Kimberly “Kym” Eldridge, in 1986. They built their home and family in Limington, where they lovingly raised their three daughters together, recently celebrating 36 years of marriage.
In May of this year, Frank retired from Shaw’s Distribution Center in Wells, after a 38-year career.
Frank was a member of the Limington Orthodox Presbyterian Church for many years. Frank found strength and comfort in his Christian faith through the years and during his battle with cancer.
Frank enjoyed camping with his family and friends in Dover-Foxcroft, collecting and trading antiques, reading and drawing with his grandchildren, and taking drives with his wife. He was also known for his love of history, music, art, and celebrating his Scottish heritage.
Frank’s loved ones and friends appreciated his sense of humor, wittiness, and ability to make others laugh, especially through his comedic artwork.
Frank is predeceased by his parents Cecil and Ruth Jones and his brother-in-law Bruce Ballingall.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife Kym Jones; Daughters--Elana Jones of Buxton, Katelyn Edmunds and husband Nathaniel of Wolfeboro, NH, and Emily Lemay and husband Isaiah of North Waterboro; Grandchildren-- Nathaniel, Malachi, Jacob, and Liliana Edmunds; and Joseph, Elias, and Noah Lemay; Sisters- Sylvia Stone and husband Barry Stone, Sr. of Hollis, and Donna Ballingall, also of Hollis. Along with his several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 30, at Limington Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 302 Sokokis Ave. Limington, Maine from 12pm-2pm. There will be a funeral service to celebrate his life at 2pm following visiting hours at the church. Burial will be at Limington Village Cemetery.
