Carol A. Messenheimer, formerly of Charlestown, MA, passed away in Nashville, TN on September 14, 2022.
Carol grew up in Charlestown, graduating from Charlestown High, later attending Simmons College. She started her career at The Boston Company, later working at Dana Farber and Partners in Boston, where she made many lasting friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Joyce Messenheimer, and her sister, Judi Messenheimer. She is survived by her sisters, Paula Messenheimer and her husband Ray Harris of Nashville, TN and Linda Halley of Saugus, MA, and her brothers, Jack Messenheimer and his wife Jody of Hudson, NH, and Brian Messenheimer and Sally O’Neill of Wakefield, MA. Carol was a loving and doting aunt to Michael Halley and his wife Christine, Matthew Harris and his wife Kirstie, Alex Harris, and Courtney Stearns and her husband Mike, as well as great aunt to Owen and Corinne Halley and Liam and Cole Stearns. Carol was our heart and she touched everyone she came into contact with.
There will be no formal services, per her request. Her family will gather at a later time on Cape Cod to celebrate her life.
