Margaret Rose (Kenny) Cella a 43 year resident of Lynnfield and formerly of Charlestown and Somerville, died on Thursday May 18, 2006 at Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers. She was 85 years old.
Margaret was born on July 8, 1920 in Malden. She grew up in Charlestown and attended Boston Public Schools there. She graduated from Charlestown High School. For many years Margaret worked at several department store chains including Filene's where she became manager. Margaret also resided in Somerville for a short time before moving to Lynnfield. She was a member of the Lynnfield chapter of The Red Hats, Lynnfield Silver Bells, Lynnfield Womens Catholic Guild, The Catherine Ross Seniors Club and Lynnfield Senior Citizens Drop-in Center.
Margaret's Funeral Mass will be held on Monday May 22, 2006 at 11 am. at Our Lady of The Assumption Church 758 Salem St. Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Margaret will be held on Sunday May 21, 2006 from 3 to 6 pm. in the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Burial will take place at Willow Cemetery, Lynnfield.
