Wilhelmina A. McVey, 95, of Elm Court, an office manager for A. Saugy, Inc. in Providence, a family owned business, until her retirement in 1982, died Thursday at Cortland Place. She was the widow of Francis E. McVey.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis P. and Wilhelmina (Roggemoser) McCaughey. She had been a resident of Smithfield since 1966 previously living in North Providence.
She is survived by a daughter Wilhelmina Pistacchio of North Providence, a son Francis E. McVey of Wiscasset, ME, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frank, Edward, Leo and Joseph McCaughey and Mary Harding. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm.
