Judy Pine (Matyi)
Thousand Oaks, CA – Judy B. Pine (Kennedy) age 77, passed away on Sunday, September 18, after a lengthy illness Primary Progressive Aphasia. She was born October 5, 1944 to the late Albert and Ziddie (Young) Kennedy in Oneida, TN. She attended Amherst High School and was an owner of various businesses throughout the years in Amherst and Tennessee. She was a member of the Amherst Eagles and the Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and devoted Browns fan. Judy moved to California with her daughter and her family as her illness progressed where her infectious smile touched everyone that she came across.
Judy is survived by her 3 children: Anthony (Donna) of Amherst, Frances Julieann (Joey Tennison) of Thousand Oaks, CA and James (Sherry) of Wakeman. Granchildren: Stephan (Jenifer), Gretchen (Dan), Chase (April), Jared (Heidi), Noah (Farren), Hope (Justin), Ruby, Oscar and Waylon. Great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Vincent, James and Paisley. Brother Norton Kennedy of TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Pine Jr. in 2000, her second husband Albert Matyi in 2015 and brothers Charles, Garnett and Olen Kennedy.
A celebration of her life will be held later this year.
