Thomas M Cummings, 84 , died peacefully, Friday, September 16, 2022 at Garden Place Healthcare where he was a resident. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Robert and Helen (McCarthy) Cummings, He lived in New Bedford and Acushnet before moving to Attleboro in 2021. He was the husband of the late Beverly (Dexter) Cummings.
He is survived by his two children and their spouses. Sandra Taylor and her husband Tom of Central Falls, RI and Kevin Cummings and his wife Annette of Granby, MA. He is also survived by his sister Ann Swistak of New Bedford and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert Cummings, James Cummings and Helen Thibeault.
Mr Cummings was a Materials Manager for Schaefer Marine upon his retirement. He enjoyed his New England sport teams, fishing and bowling but most of all spending time with his family. Mr Cummings was also an Army Veteran.
According to his wishes, burial will be private.
